Each game can be assigned to a league. Generally speaking, a group of teams belong to a league, however, Referee Assistant does not require teams or games to be assigned to a league at all.
Assignors can specify a conflict between a referee and a league. This can be used when the assignor is responsible for games in a number of different levels of play, for example, youth and College games. If you have some referees able to work the youth games, and other referees that can work the College games, and some referees that can work both youth and College, this feature can be used so that all games can remain in the same database.
Leagues can be added or edited from the following menu commands
Tools : Maintenance : Leagues or
Main Menu : Maintenance : Leagues
A League can be removed from Referee Assistant by clicking the Delete button (
) next to the league record.
A conflict between a referee and a league can be defined at Tools : Availability : Conflict with a League, or Tools : People : Add/Edit Referees (League Conflict tab).
