Referee Assistant uses two different formats for dates: the Short Date format (as defined by your Windows Control Panel Regional Settings), and a format defined by this field. This value need only be changed if you wish to display dates in a different format on reports and screens.
By default, Referee Assistant displays dates (August 2, 2006) as shown:

This is the default referee grade for manual referee data entry.
Each referee is given an ability score that corresponds to each position. This is the default referee ability level when adding new ability levels. The three values correspond to, from left to right, Low, Preferred, and High ability levels.
This is the default system of control when games are entered into Referee Assistant.
This is the default game difficulty level for new games.
The Post-Game Interval is the number of minutes after the calculated completion of a match that a referee should be seen by Referee Assistant as unavailable.
For example, the assignor has set up an age group called "U-12" Age Group. "U-12" has a 50 minute length-of-game.
For a 2:00pm kickoff time, Referee Assistant calculates that this game will end at 2:50pm
The calculated length of a game can be changed by 1) changing the length-of-game of the Age Group, or 2) changing the Post-Game Interval value.
If you want to show referees as available for another match sooner, the pre-game can be set to 0, or can also be set to a negative number, such as -10.
In the above example, if the pre-game interval is set at -10, the calculated length-of-game is 40 minutes, and the referee will be available to work another match at 2:40pm.
The Pre-Game Interval is the number of minutes prior to kickoff that a referee is unavailable.
For example, if the default pre-game interval is 30 minutes, if a referee is assigned to a 2:00pm match, Referee Assistant will see that this referee is not available from 1:30pm until the end of the match.
If this checkbox is checked, Referee Assistant will provide warnings when an e-mailed assignment is changed or removed.
